Best screen protectors for 11-inch iPad Pro (2018)

By Karen Freeman

You'll want to keep that gorgeous nearly bezel-less screen looking pristine. One way to do that is to use a screen protector. Whether you prefer glass, plastic, or even liquid, there is a screen protector for you. Here are some of the best.

A clear tempered glass protector is set above an iPad Pro with an active screen showing green ocean water.

Prime shipping

AVIDET Tempered Glass Screen Protector

There is just one screen protector in this package but it does ship via Amazon Prime so you could have it even before your new 11-inch iPad Pro. It has all of the usual features, plus curved edges and it's just .3mm thick. $12 at Amazon

A two-pack tempered glass screen protector and an active iPad Pro with an active screen showing an orange background display.

Two in two days

ESR Tempered Glass Screen Protector

There's definitely a sameness to the tempered glass screen protectors and this is much like the rest. However, it is a two-pack and it does ship via Amazon Prime, so you could have them before your new iPad Pro. $16 at Amazon

An iPad Pro with an active screen showing sunset in the ocean.

Soft film

Liu Nian Screen Protector Film

This one is not glass at all, it's a soft PET film. It's definitely lighter and thinner than glass, but also harder to apply without bubbles. Plastic is not going to offer the same impact resistance as glass. Also note that while this two-pack is very inexpensive, shipping costs more than twice as much as the product itself and it may take more than a month to ship. $2 at Amazon

Liquipel Safeguard Screen Protection product packaging.

Liquid protection

LIQUIPEL Ghostguard Invisible Screen Protection

Here is something totally different. Rather than a physical barrier, LIQUIPEL is a liquid nanocoating that you can apply to any screen. Application is simple: you just clean your screen, wipe on the LIQUIPEL, and then buff it once dry. It comes with a "You Break It, We Fix It" guarantee. It's a little scary to trust something you can't even see, but it's better than no protection at all. $20 at Amazon

Paper feel

PaperLike Screen Protector

Make your iPad feel more like paper. If you're an artist, you take a lot of notes, and/or you use an Apple Pencil, you're really going to enjoy this. You get two in a package. $33 at PaperLike

I'm pretty careful with my iPads, so I'm going to give the LIQUIPEL a shot. If you're looking for a physical barrier, I'd snag one of the glass options, such as the AVIDET and have it right away. - Originally posted on iMore
